I’ve joined some wonderful book groups since Lights Out was released in paperback. I was invited to read with The Silent Book Group Hull, and to speak at Pudding and Pages in Gainsborough. Meeting readers is absolutely my favourite thing to do… (March/April 2025)

Had the BEST time in London September 5th 2024, launching the Lights Out hardback! Signed a stack of copies at Goldsboro Books, and then chatted to Janice Hallett about the novel at Tragalgar Sqaure Waterstones.

On 10th Febraury 2024, I did my first ever one-woman (though it became two-woman when my sister Grace did some readings) show at East Riding Theatre in Beverley. I was so nervous, I wanted to run away … but I stayed, and had a blast.

I did my first Granite Noir panel in Aberdeen in February 2023. It was my FIRST time seeing End of Story in hardback and I got very emotional. An unforgettable day.



In October 2022 I attended an amazing party in London celebrating not only my new, upcoming book, End of Story, but also BA Paris’ and Emma Haughton’s new ones. Readers, reviewers and bloggers attended and we just drank wine, ate nibbles, and talked BOOKS.
